August6, 2007- Getting Connected Sessions
During this session, we’ll break up into groups and get to know each other. Find out who’s in your area of town, has kids your age, and share triumphs and concerns.
September 10, 2007 - 2 Seminars
6:15 - 7:15 FREE SAT Prep Course for parents and high school students presented by SMART Testers
Tests for College Bound High Schoolers:

CLEP, AP, IB, PSAT, SAT Reasoning (former SAT I), SAT Subject Tests (former SAT II's)
The first session will provide information on tests that college bound students may need or want to take during their high school years. We will discuss the format of each test and how to access it, along with how colleges are likely to use the scores.
High school students are welcome, but they will need to also attend the AGAPE meetings following the sessions or leave the church grounds. All students must attend with a parent.
 

7:00 - 7:30 Refreshments and Registration, come early to meet other homeschool parents

7:30 - 9:00 Main Meeting- 2 Seminars to choose from

WCAA Athletic Director, Professional Trainer, and pastor, Mike Worley  will be speaking tonight.
  • Learn about the importance of sports in your home school
  • How physical drills can increase your child’s attention and retention
  • Introduction to the WCAA Trailblazers, our very own homeschool sports teams!

Getting Off to a Great Start – Mike & Ronda Marshall
Come learn what we wish we had known when we began homeschooling 12years ago. This seminar covers not just the basics of getting started homeschooling in NC, but also the common pitfalls, and important tips to get off to a great start!
