Welcome to AGAPE, one of the largest homeschool groups in North Carolina.  Based in  beautiful Asheville, and encompassing the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains, our group has a lot to offer.

We meet the first Monday of each month, for a Parent's Only, (nursing babies allowed) time of fun, fellowship, and learning at Trinity Presbyterian Church. The September and January meetings will be held the second Monday of the month due to the Labor Day and New Years holidays. We start at 7 PM with refreshments and a time to get to know each other, we then move to the meeting at 7:30.

AGAPE is a VOLUNTEER organization with Christian leadership. All of our events are volunteer driven. If no one volunteers to help with an area, we will unfortunately not be able to provide our members with the full services we have in the past.

"Get Connected" is the theme of the 2007-2008 year. We'll start off the year in August with a "Get Connected" Session where we'll break up into different groups and share the trials and triumphs of homeschooling. In September, October and November we'll have main meetings- in September with the WCAA Trailblazers- homeschoolings own sports team, and in October with conference speaker Misti Spinelli. In November, we will have mini-seminars, then December is our Christmas Party. January we'll have a panel discussion on Travel, then February, March, and April we'll have a mini-seminar format again.

In May, we'll have our annual Used Book Sale.

It's going to be another great year, I hope you join us!
